After you feel confident that you know who you are, it’s time to explore all your choices. To begin, there are three main categories that can help you organize your career exploration: sectors, pathways, and careers.

- Career Sectors: The 15 general career areas where all jobs belong.
- Career Pathways: Specific programs within each sector that help prepare students for careers.
- Careers: The actual jobs you can pursue after completing education and training.
